Can I sell things through my website? |
|||||
Currently, our websites support tools offered by PayPal for selling items online.
We like the PayPal tools for small-scale sellers. Traditional shopping cart software is built for businesses with large inventories and identical items. We usually deal with small inventories and one-of-a-kind items. We also like PayPal because they handle the transactions on their secure billing site and you don't have to mess with taking credit card payments or the risks involved. Like all credit card processors, PayPal charges a per-transaction fee, but there are no minimum monthly fees. If you are selling a small number of items, the easiest option is to use PayPal's Buy It Now buttons. These are simple to implement, and you can even give customers a selection list for options, such as sizes or colors. A more complex option available through PayPal are Add to Cart buttons. This looks more like the traditional shopping cart solution. Read more about PayPal tools at https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/we...erview-outside Detailed instructions will be posted soon for implementing these tools yourself. Please contact us if you need more information. |
